This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
School is keeping me busy doing basic stuff like perspective and design layouts right now. The thing I did for my design class will probably end up being posted here (since I think it'd make for a nifty wallpaper) but not much else is really deviant material imo, but neither is any of my artwork from 8+ years ago either. I'm thinking maybe I should put up the old stuff (and a few pieces I did between High School and College, but there really wasn't much done then) just so people can see how my art has evolved, but then my art from my high school days was so static and boring and my ego keeps me from posting it. A lot changed since high school and I feel that I'm able to look at art in a different perspective now and I'm more able to focus on the curves and fluidity (I think that's a word but I'm tired so maybe not) and my people actually have emotion behind them (even if it's not obvious in the faces, which I still need to work on. faces, that's my only weakness... faces and legs, those are my two weaknesses... faces and legs and arms and... well, yeah, most things need work. Although I'm really happy with how PinUp Girl turned out so maybe I just need to draw more pin-ups). I realize there's a lot of room for improvement in my art, but I'm actually happy with the direction my recent pieces have taken me (compared to my old work from high school which kinda plateau-ed at a rather low point in my present opinion).
I just wish I had the free time now to actually work on what I want to work on. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I dislike what I'm doing for school; I just want more time!
Well, that was random and unfocused. I think I got my point across... What was my point? Oh well.
And I almost forgot, today was my birthday and I went to see the Wharton Esherick Musuem with my mum. If you're unfamiliar with him, I advise you to google him and if you're ever in the Paoli area (west of Philly) go check it out. His sculpture/woodworking is fantastically amazing. Words really can't adequately describe the beauty of his pieces (which includes the buildings and everything in them with the exception of the stove and refrigerator).
